I have a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm healthy, physically capable, with a positive mindset. I prefer to host mature dogs with moderate to low energy level. I engage with my community, volunteer, support local and minority businesses.

Great experience all around. Shawnna was super easy to talk to and my pups were at ease with her and in her home. They came back nice and calm as well I could tell they were relaxed and attended to during their stay. Thank you! Will use again :)
Second time booking with Shawnna. She’s awesome! Easy going, great communication, and gives our dog the same attention and love that he gets from us! Recommend yes! And will most likely try to book with her again.
Maverick had such a wonderful time with Shawnna. She was a perfect fit for his daily lifestyle - sun and relaxing outdoors and indoors. Shawnna kept in constant communication, sending photos and giving daily updates. Would recommend for a dog that is low key and likes to just be around humans.

I'll make every effort to comply with your pet's normal routine. I have completely fenced yard. Part of which is gated with high privacy fence. The rest is 4' chain link (probably jumpable by big dogs) So I'll keep those guys leashed up and walk them. As for sleeping, eating, exercise, etc., however they have it at home is how they'll have it here.

A typical day
I'm flexible. We will discuss what your pet needs, what will make them comfortable and what brings them joy. I'll make every effort to provide all of it. Walks and playtime expectations will be agreed upon in advance of their stay. My neighborhood is safe for walking with sidewalks and nearby parks. I'm happy to walk em and play fetch in a fully fenced field.

Availability
I work from home with flexible hours so I can provide constant supervision, multiple yard outings, walks around the neighborhood, throw balls for fetching. I do not transport pets by car. When booking please consider drop off and pick up times. Like hotel check in is after 3pm and check out if before 11am. Im happy to accept early drop off or later pick up with an added day care fee. Book services accordingly.
