Pet care experience
I have 15+ years of experience caring for cats and dogs, young and old. I also have many years of experience caring for sick and injured animals. If plants are the babies you need taken care of, I am a gardener and have a lot of love for plants. I have some experience with other animals as well - birds, chickens, goats, horses, pigs, ferrets, turtles, and fish.

Shawnalee was awesome! She was super flexible in her caring for my dog while we were away. She sent cool photos of them going on hikes and adventures. Scout came home completely satisfied. I would recommend Shawnalee to anyone needing a dog sitter.
Shawna was simply wonderful to coordinate with and I feel very confident our two boys had a great time spent with her at our house. She is communicative, flexible and made sure our boys got the exercise and love they needed while we were gone for Christmas.

I will care for your pets as directed from you. You know your pets needs the most, so I will care for them as needed. If they need a hike everyday I am happy to do that. If they have a routine you would like them to stick to then I will do my best to replicate that. I typically feed animals twice per day and walk them twice per day or take them on a hike and engage in playtime with them.

A typical day
If the animals are high activity, I like to take them on hikes or play fetch if that's what they are into. I enjoy playing games with their toys, such as hide and seek or make a puzzle for them to figure out.

Availability
I am available in the afternoons and weekends. I am a student at the University of Montana and I work 2-3 days/week as a research assistant at the University and I walk dogs part time. For house sitting I will not be available to be at the house for most of the day (approximately from 9am - 5pm), unless it is in Missoula, then I can drop by midday.
