Hello There! I'm Shawna, a stay-at-home mom and dog lover with a husband who's allergic. (Boo!) Growing up, one of my closest friends was my dog, Bubba (Benjamin Bufford Blue). Bubba was a massive, white Labrador Retriever with a lot of energy. I can laugh now when I remember the time Bubba and I were out for a walk and he basically dragged me through mud for an entire block while he tried to catch a squirrel. In college, I adopted a Pit Bull mix and named him Capone. Capone looked tough but was as sweet as can be and quickly developed a following amongst my friends and neighbors. I remember when I took him to the vet for the first time and because he was a rescue, I had to get him "snipped". It was absolutely heart-breaking. I had finals at the time and stayed up the entire night studying with Capone (and his big cone) in my lap the entire time. I would absolutely love to hang out with and/or spend time with your dog. Not only will you have peace of mind when I'm caring for your pet but, it's a bit of happy therapy for me as well!
