Pet care experience
I have loved and cared for animals my entire life, not as a professional, but as someone who appreciates the love and joy they bring us in so many situations. Over the past 20 years our home has never had less than 2 dogs and 2 cats because their voices bring such energy to the environment! I have been owned by dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes. In my spare time I work in higher education and love the spirit on campus - this also allows me some flexibility in scheduling daytime visits so your beloved furry friends do not have to wait long for me to arrive. I look forward to meeting your precious family members and helping you feel comfortable and calm in knowing that they are being cared for just like I care for my own.

She was very loving! Took good care of my pup and he was very happy :)
Shawna took care of our poodles over the past 20+ years! She provided walks, feedings, overnights, and is quite able to give medications and other necessary cares (eg, wound cleaning). She is very conscientious and appears to have loved animals all of her life! She follows owner's instructions, sends pictures and update, and we have always been able to rely upon her skills. Dogs seem to gravitate to this very caring person! Dogs love to play with Shawna and she seems very good at keeping our fury friends entertained.
Shawna ‘gets’ animals like nobody I’ve ever known before. She has committed her life to being a caregiver and rescuer of dogs. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting and dog walking needs!
I highly recommend Shawna! She is a lifelong pet lover and has participated in pet rescue transport, connecting young people with taking care of animals, and has years of personal experience in taking care of pets!
