Hi! I'm Shawna. I'm a mother of little girl and of a sweet pup. I work part time at a vet clinic with lots of different experiences with dogs. I Have worked as a groomer, volunteered at humane society, and grew up knowing/loving dogs as family. I know the feeling of traveling and unsure of boarding a pet, but having them feel safe at home or being able to have someone watch them knowing what to do can help keep your mind at ease when traveling. I will try to keep to a schedule you already have set for your loved one. I would love to help you and give your pup a joyful time while you're away. I can also come take care of your cats while away. I know they are more comfortable at home and don't mind going over to feed, clean out lottery boxes, and give some loving.

I highly recommend having Shawna watch your beloved fur babies! She is very reliable, responsible, sweet, caring, gentle and knowledgeable. I have worked next to Shawna at the vet clinic for a few years now, so I see how well she handles animals and just how comfortable she is around them. Since she is a vet tech, she knows what to do in case of emergency and she can medicate your animal if need be. She knows what is needed to keep an animal healthy and happy, and even has experience taking care of boarding animals. I would completely trust Shawna with any of my animals without a second thought.
Shawna has always had such a love for animals, since we were small children together. She became a groomer so that she could continue to care for animals in her career, and I think she would make a fantastic choice for anyone needing a sitter. If you are wanting to have your dog stay with me I would like to be able to meet up so our dogs could meet and so I could meet you and your dog could meet my finance and daughter. I would prefer a female since we have a male (he is fixed), better safe than sorry, but if the dogs get along I'm not against having another male that is fixed.
A typical day
If you do not have a yard and your dog is leash trained, I'm will to take you dog for a walk around your area, but if you'd rather me go to a park we would take a little trip to the riverfront park or down by the river for a nice little walk.
