Small Dogs<Big hearts I love small dogs with big personalities! Some people might call them yappy or even ankle biters but I see them as loyal, intelligent, and loving companions. If you have a small dog then you know they sometimes (okay, most of the time!) require a little extra patience, love, and attention. As the owner of two small dogs, a Chihuahua and Miniature Schnauzer, I know how hard it is to find a boarding facility where your dog "fits" in. Most importantly, some small breed dogs like the Chihuahua don't do well in this type of environment. If you're like my family and I, you bring your dogs on vacation with you... But, you can't always do that (or want to). That's where I come in. Your dog will be the only dog I board. Your furry family member will be treated just like one of my own, that means snuggles on the couch, lots and lots of attention, walks, playtime, and supervised outdoor time. I always try to incorporate canine enrichment activities into their daily lives, it helps keep their mind busy and for dogs being boarded, it helps with anxiety. I would prefer your family member be crate trained in case I need to run out but it is not required, vet records are. Please have those available before booking and bring with you when we meet up for an introduction to see if I'm a good fit for your furry family member. I am also "mom" to two cats who are either playing with the dogs or ignoring them. If your dog has not been introduced to cats, no worries, our cats are usually sleeping all day in a different part of the house and will introduce themselves on their own terms (and with my supervision). Need someone to watch your cats in your own home? Please feel free reach out to me. I'll be happy to visit your cats 2 -3x daily to feed, pet, and play with them. I'll even clean the litter box! Have another small animal, hamster, bearded dragon etc... let me know what you need and I'll let you know if it's something I can do.
