Pet care experience
I care for many types of animals, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, rats, mice, hedgehogs, gliders, ferrets, bunnies, chins etc... **Please ask for pricing for small caged animals.** I have many years of experience with dogs and small animals, mostly rats, mice and rabbits. I am a former volunteer at MN Pocket Pet Rescue where I learned to care for and love all types of furry creatures. I don't have any issues with administering medications and understand that your pet is very special and will make sure that they are treated with all the love and respect that you would give them. I will make sure your animals gets to play, lots of loves and plenty of exercise. I will even send you updates so you can relax and enjoy your time away!

Shawna dogsat for both of our dogs (a beagle and a maltipoo) for nearly a week. She kept us updated with photos, and she took great care of them. She has a good way with dogs, and puts attention into understanding how they are doing and taking care of them. Her fenced-in back yard was a great place for them to explore, and they got along well with Shawna's sweet chihuahua's. We would use Shawna again!
Shawna was wonderful! We needed someone to take care of our little Guinea Pig during a week vacation. Shawna was recommended to us by another Rover sitter. It worked great since Shawna was experienced with little critters like our Mico. We will definitely book Shawna again for our next vacation.

I REQUIRE a meet and greet for all new clients. This is for your and my pets safety. We need to be sure there aren’t any major issues and that your pets stay is comfortable and safe. Is your pet on any medications or have any special needs? Does your pet have any behavioral issues? Is your pet crate, house and/or litter trained?
A typical day
Depending on what type of pet you have, we do lots of fun things from going to dog parks, taking a walk around the lake, playing in the backyard or just hanging out at the house!
