Pet care experience
I have been caring for my own pets for over 20 years. I have experience with puppies and kittens up to senior age. When I was younger, my parents used to breed golden retrievers and that was my first dog. I have experience with caring for animals with special needs as well, including my last pet that had Addison's disease and needed special care. I can give medication or shots if needed. I currently work close to full time, and have 6-8 hour days for work. I could make some adjustments to that while watching your pet. I do not have pets right now, and miss it! I am a mom to two adult daughters, who have gone out on their own so I have time to spend with your pets in your home. I do not appear in my pet photos, because well, the mom is always the one taking the photos! The pics I have show my dearest pets through the years, as well as a few I have done pet sitting for.

Shawn was my neighbor in Grand Blanc, MI and she used to watch my extremely naughty husky as a favor, when I was out for work too long and she never ever complained about his behavior, she is extremely accommodating to animals. Apart from that, she was one of the very few people in our apartment complex who could be seen walking their dog even in 2 feet of snow. Knowing Shawn as a neighbor and pet owner, I highly recommend her a pet caregiver!
Shawn was exceptional and on the spot for my pups whiskey. She was flexible in scheduling and exceeded every expectation I had. My dog was a covid pitbull and I had to go back to the office so it was a big change. Thank you Shawn!! I'd recommend ya to anyone!

Please inform me of any health issues your dog has as well as food allergies or special information regarding food. I also need to know if your pet has any medication needs and when to give it to them. Please let me know of any behavior issues such as aggressiveness, likes to run away, not good with children so I can be prepared and keep your dog safe.
A typical day
I am able to take your dog for a walk on a city sidewalk, walk their favorite trail, play out in your yard or play inside and of course give plenty of attention. When you book my services, the activities done will depend on the brief you give me about your pet when we meet including what they love to do, where they like to go and their personality and preferences.

My schedule allows for lots of time for potty breaks and walks and attention. My work schedule can vary but is not every day and I can spend plenty of time with your animals when I am not at work.
