No special past experience except good old fashion love for our fur babies the last 18+ years. Most of our dogs have been adopted from shelters to give dogs a second chance and a loving home. We have experience with small, medium and large dogs and our kids have been raised with dogs their whole life while growing up. My husband and I work but have opposite schedules along with our adult kids that live at home so someone is usually always home to care for our dogs. My husband is off Monday's and Tuesday's and I am off Thursday's ands Saturday’s so we are here 4 out of 7 days all day. The other three days I am off by 115 and my husband dosent go into work most days until 1030am so our dogs are only home by themselves on an average of 1-2 hours 3 days a week. Our dogs usually have the run of our living room and kitchen if we are out and yours would to unless not potty trained. We can kennel or keep in kitchen with gate or they can have access to large backyard area. We can discuss on an as need basis. We allow small dogs on furniture and they would be able to have their choice of three different bedrooms to sleep in as both my daughters allow dogs on their beds as well as my husband and I. Larger dogs would have to stay off furniture but depending on size could be allowed on beds to sleep. We have a large backyard for all dogs to run around and play and have a filtered water system for drinking as well. For small dogs we have two beds outside and two beds inside as well to choose from as only one of my dogs uses a bed at times. We have one shih Tzu/Maltese ten years and one parti yorki three years old that are very lovable and enjoys company.
