Pet care experience
I’ve cared for pets my entire life and currently have 1 cat named Penny. Being a pet parent myself I understand that our animals are family and what it feels like to be away from them. Putting trust into another person to care for your fur baby can be scary, but rest assured I will love your pet as if they were my own. I love being active and going for hikes/walks so adding a furry friend to the adventure is always a highlight of my day and hopefully, your pets day too! But whether your pet is high energy or prefers to nap & snuggle on some comfy blankets I will always provide the quality care that they deserve.

Shaunna was a great puppy sitter for our first time being gone for a week since getting our pup, Ivy. We were a bit anxious about leaving Ivy for the first time, but we quickly realized that she was doing so well thanks to Shaunna’s daily updates with photos, and could enjoy our week worry free. It couldn’t have worked out better. Thanks Shaunna for taking care of our girl and our home!

A typical day
I love to take dogs out on walks around the neighborhood or on hiking trails. If hiking isn't an option then a stroll through a nearby park is perfect too! For high-energy dogs who enjoy running, I would love to take them out for a jog. When I care for cats I will keep up with their daily feeding schedule and litter box clean up. I also provide exercise and stimulation through playtime which usually involves the cat toys they prefer. Of course, if your cat enjoys being pet then I provide endless amounts of chin scratches:)

Availability
Since I work from home your pet won't have to spend long hours alone. I am able to take several breaks throughout my work day to take your dog on a walk, give potty breaks whenever needed, or just extra attention in general.
