I was lucky to grow up romping with my own dog, Buddy, a Brittany Springer Spaniel through the suburbs of Grand Junction and Colorado Springs.  In addition to looking after Buddy, I was the neighborhood dog walker and sitter at the early age of eleven. I lived in New York City for eleven years as a young adult while my husband and I made a living working in the performing arts. We lived in a beautiful part of upper Manhattan for the last several years of our stay in New York and it was around that time that we met and adopted the love of our lives--a four year old rescue pup named Stewie. After that all bets were off and I realized that while I love the performing arts, the thing I love most of all are animals. Stewie ended up inspiring me to work full time with dogs and cats and completely reevaluate my life's path. I promptly began working full-time with an amazing dog walking company on the upper east side and quickly found that this was what my life should look like--caring for animals everyday. After walking dogs and dog sitting professionally in Manhattan, it was time for my husband and I to come back to Colorado as we always knew that one day we would return to the beautiful mountains and both of our families are here, too! Upon our return, I worked at a high volume dog and cat boarding facility in Parker, Colorado before transitioning to a management position at an all natural pet supply store in Highlands Ranch where I continue to learn about proper health and care for pups and cats of all sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments. I decided that when I'm not at the store, I want to continue to foster a loving and healthy bond with the pooches and felines in my neighborhood and beyond!. Deciding to work in animal welfare has been the most rewarding decision of my life and I want to share that passion with your beloved furkids. I find that many furkids thrive in their own familiar environment, so when you're away I can come to your home and be a loving and attentive care-giver providing plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. After working as a professional dog sitter/walker in one of the most dog-centric neighborhoods in NYC, I am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats and have experience with all life stages and can comfortably administer medications as well.
