Pet care experience
We are a dog-loving household, complete with a pre-teen daughter with aspirations of owning her own doggy daycare/training facility when she grows up. We are a family of 5 (of course we count our four-legged daughter, Joy!) I work from home, though I sometimes have appointments outside the home. I can make sure my schedule meets your pet's needs. We often take walks around the community pond and enjoy lots of belly rubs, ball/frisbee throwing and cuddles. Dogs that stay with us are allowed on the furniture, but do need to be crated at night and while no one is home. Though our little Joy is only 5 years old, my husband and I grew up having dogs. We have used Rover sitters for over 5 years and our pup has had wonderful experiences socializing with other dogs and people. Our family is happy to reciprocate by caring for and enjoying your pups in our home.

This was the first time I have ever left any dog with someone other than an immediate family member so I was very nervous but time was running short. Rover was highly recommended to me by my vet and other dog sitters so I took a chance. When I saw Shauna's picture with her adorable little dog I didn't look any further. She was able to take Ginger at the last minute and after a short visit with her and her husband, I felt very confident that Ginger would be well taken care of, and even though Ginger had a bit of separation anxiety, which was expected, things went very well. A plus for me also was that there was a fenced back yard so she could get out and run a bit and also that there were no large dogs in the household or being cared for during that time period. It is such a relief to know I have a safe place with kind people where I can leave Ginger in the future and would highly recommend Shauna for anyone looking for a smart and responsible dog sitter.
Shauna and family took great care of Theo. He enjoyed his stay there and playing with other furry friends. Thank you.
