Pet care experience
I was a veterinary assistant for 8 years and absolutely loved my job and I left when I became a mother and decided to stay at home with my boys. I have the ability to give medications in all forms. I have the ability to stay over night with your pets and also can do multiple visits a day, depending on your needs. I am available most weekdays and weekends. I have no breed restrictions and enjoy taking walks with your little loves and enjoy giving them the love and support they need when their family is away. In my home, dogs are allowed on the furniture and sleep in the room with us, unless otherwise specified by you. They have the ability to roam the home all day long and we love to go on a few short walks throughout the day as well as have outdoor play in the fenced yard.

Shauna and Nathan were great- so patient with our wild puppy and very good with our older dog too. They kept in close touch with us sending regular updates and you can clearly tell the dogs become part of the family while they are there. Highly recommend!
Shauna did a great job taking care of Finley. She kept us updated with pictures and I could tell that he was having a wonderful time. I got the feeling that Shauna and her family treated and loved Finley like their own. She even combed out his ears because they got wet when he laid down in their shower. :).
Shauna and the pack were exactly what our geriatric lab needed to settle out of his separation anxiety during our vacation. Photos of him relaxing and playing let us know he was in the right place. At check out, Shauna gave us a report of which supplements and meds he took and which ones weren’t needed. We will definitely be calling Shauna to schedule our next vacation stay.

I have always had a passion for pets and loved my job in the veterinary field. Now I am a stay-at-home parent and am able to devote my time to my children and pets. I have hosted as many as 4 dogs (6 including my own) at a time of all sizes and they all had a great time! During my career as a Veterinary Assistant I constantly had pets in the home, of all shapes and sizes. We currently live in a home by Lone Pine Elementary on the NE side of Medford. Our pets and guests have full access to the house, including couches and beds. They seem to love to take over pillows! All pets in the home are treated like family, because they are. They will have AC on the hot days and Heat in the cold days with access to water 24/7. Please let me know how your pet likes to be loved and how frequently they need to go to the bathroom, eating specifications (including food allergies) and what their favorite things to do are!
A typical day
We go on walks around the neighborhood and have a fenced yard, so they can play outside on nice days as well. I have central air and provide water 24 hrs a day so they will never be wanting. I love to snuggle, play rope and do fun games with treats for them. My son's are great with animals, very gentle and are not overbearing. They enjoy playing with our guests as well.
