Hello! I have worked at a doggy daycare center for 3 years so I am capable of handling any dog big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, giant breeds, counter surfers, etc. I am skilled at reading body language, am highly aware of any safety measures needed to be taken to provide for the dog, including avoiding ingestion of anything harmful, checking for heat stroke, cleaning and caring for paw pads, and managing hydration levels. I have managed as many as 50 dogs at one time to facilitate pack play and behavior, so I am experienced in anticipating dog behaviors before they occur and am very good at reading body language. I also have experience in dog boarding and have boarded as many as 30 dogs on my own overnight at the doggy daycare center so I am familiar with the overnight boarding process. I have grown up and cared for my own dogs my whole life. My friends and family can attest that dogs have a natural affinity for me and I believe this to be because I have a natural affinity for them, but most importantly I do my best to understand and respect each individual animal's boundaries. At my place of work, I have been especially successful caring for more timid and choosy dogs, taking the time toe slowly form and bond and trust, so much so that I am the only one at my work allowed to handle certain dogs.
