Pet care experience
I've had pets my whole life, and love the feeling of "home" that they provide. Dogs, cats, birds, and turtles were household members while my kids were growing up. We've added a horse, goats, and chickens to our backyard, but dogs hold a special place in my heart! I'm comfortable giving injections, after-surgery care, older pet care, and all sizes of dogs. No dogs with separation anxiety, please.

I have known her for years, and she has taken care of my dogs on numerous occasions. I have had many different breeds of dogs, and she adjusts to the needs of each individual animal, whether they are young or old, small or large. She is able to administer medications, give appropriate exercise or care for a special needs pet. I trust her completely, and would recommend her highly.

My dogs are fed twice a day, and of course there's a lunch cookie midday! I have one small dog who is well-socialized with dogs of all sizes. Our house has stairs, so please let me know if your dog has mobility issues. I have chickens, a horse, and goats in my back yard, so the dogs like to join me for our twice-daily barn checks (from outside the fence, of course!)

A typical day
Your dogs will be introduced to some new friends at our property -- George the horse and Coco the goat! We'll take walks in the neighborhood, exploring the sights and sounds along the way. Playtime in the fenced backyard and in the house will keep them busy and entertained.

As a recently retired teacher, I have lots of time to dedicate to your pet! We walk daily, have supervised play time in the fenced yard, and spend time together in the house.
