Pet care experience
Being self-employed & an avid traveller, this kind of work & lifestyle means that I'm unable to commit to having pets of my own...but, I do love being around animals! I grew up with cats all through my childhood, and I had my first dog from my late teens. In my twenties, I began house/pet-sitting for family & friends of the family, and have continued to do that ever since. I'm originally from East Sussex, where I've mostly house/pet-sat, and other places I've house/pet-sat are Sydney (Australia) and New York City (USA). Because my work & lifestyle means that I have a life without too many commitments, I'm open to travelling anywhere to house/pet-sit, whether it be in the UK or abroad (providing travel expenses are covered).

Shaun was great ? At quite short notice he looked after our Dog ?, two cats ? and tortoise ? for 10 days. The animals loved him and he kept the house immaculately! We will definitely be using him again and would recommend him to anyway! Thanks again Shaun!
Shaun looked after our dog branston whilst we went on holiday.I would certainly recommend him anytime very trustworthy,kind and caring .we certainly would have him again
Shaun often comes to stay to look after my 2 small dogs, both Shi Tzu x Pugs, and to house sit. The reason I keep with Shaun is because one of my dogs has severe separation anxiety, and he's now got to know and trust Shaun. I know both dogs will be well looked after, fed and cared for. Shaun is also a very tidy person and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone. I wouldn't leave my dogs with anyone else.

I am only interested in dog-sitting: - 1x Small/Medium/Big Dog, or - 2x Small Dogs This is based on walking times, and, how many dogs would need to be walked at once.
A typical day
Walking is something I love to do, with or without a dog (or dogs). So, your dog would be guaranteed a walk at least once a day. If you dog doesn't enjoy playing (catching balls, etc), and is happy to just run or walk, this would suit me better.

Availability
I will only accept requests providing the needs of the pets/house fit-in with my own schedule. It would be better if your request was for a minimum of 5 days, as I would prefer not to pet/house-sit for shorter times. Additionally, you would need to understand that I may be required during a home-stay, which would mean having to leave your pet alone for 8-9hrs (my overnight fee does not compensate for loss of earnings). Ideally, your pet(s) can be left alone for at least 5-8hrs per day, allowing me my own time to do anything that I may need to do during the pet/house-sitting period.
