Pet care experience
My wife and I recently lost our boy Gus after 16 years and while we're not ready to adopt another pup just yet, we look forward to caring for your dogs as if they were our own. I love dogs of all kinds, but I am especially happy to board senior dogs and understand the extra care and attention they need and deserve.

Our "senior" dog had a great week with Shaun. We received several updates with photos during the week. Was very well cared for. This was the longest we have ever left our dog with anyone, and he was very well cared for. Would not hesitate to recommend Shaun and his wife.

Shaun was an excellent sitter! It was our 8 month old puppy's first time away from us and we were nervous to leave her with a Rover. However, Shaun's attentive, calm, and compassionate demeanor calmed our nerves! Shaun bonded instantly with our puppy and she quickly adjusted very easily. He sent us regular updates and photos throughout, which made us feel like our puppy was attended to and well cared for. Additionally, Shaun was incredibly flexible and super accommodating! He was happy to adjust to our puppy's unique needs. Even when our flight got delayed 2 hours and we were several hours late picking up our puppy, Shaun was still super kind and understanding. We would 100% recommend Shaun and book another stay in the future!

I do not have a fenced in yard but live in a quiet neighborhood plenty of walking routes and a dog park about 1 mile away. I generally let the dogs have free roam of the house, but we will gladly follow your "house rules" so that their routines stay as consistent as possible.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or physical/dietary restrictions. I know many dogs experience anxiety away from their humans and in new environments so if there are special beds, blankets, etc... that will help please make sure you bring those as well.
A typical day
I'll gladly give your dog the attention they need, including plenty of walks and play time. For non-reactive or socialized dogs, there is a dog park nearby that we can go to. If your dog enjoys car rides, I'm also happy to take them along on errands and reward them with a pup cup.

I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule so I can make time throughout the day for potty breaks, long walks, and play time.
