I've been around dogs my whole life, but personally owned two golden retrievers when I was 8 years old. As someone suffering from depression, I've learned that being around animals is one of my "thought" relievers, and so I try to be in said state whenever possible. Because dogs are my fuel, I treat them as royalty. Any and all care provided is truly from the heart, and I pride myself on being a disney princess of sorts with animals (haven't found a dog yet who fits the "my dog hates X" profile that didn't respond positively to me). I have an attention loving cat of my own who likes to remind me when he isn't being pet, so my arm has actually evolved into a permanent pet machine. That same cat had many troubles when I brought him home from the shelter, so I'm fully prepared to take on any task at hand, and shy away from few problems.
