Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting for approximately 20 years - started off pet sitting for friends and family and then word spread, and I have made it a little side business ever since. In addition, I have worked professionally in the pet care industry for the past 9 years - first at a doggy daycare and now (for almost six years) at a veterinary clinic. I have experience with all breeds of dogs, as well as experience with cats. I do have friendly dogs of my own so any dogs that I host in my house must be dog friendly. I do not have cats of my own but do have experience with cats and will host them, as needed. I am comfortable hosting pets at my home or pet sitting at your home - whichever works best for you! I would love the opportunity to care for your fur babies!

Shasta is fantastic!! She is very professional and knowledgeable. My dog recently became a tripawd and is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer so I was worried about leaving him. Shasta updated me daily, gave him his medications, kept an eye on how he was doing. She let me know when he was having a hard time due to New Years Eve noise to discuss how to handle it and administered his calming meds. Then let me know that he was doing much better. And she stayed with him on this holiday!! She is wonderful and I would definitely hire her again!!
When our dog had a problem with our stairs she immediately contacted us and then assisted by helping our dog .
Shasta is always so communicative and easy to work with! This is the second time we’ve left our pups over night and will happily to it again!

We have a lot of toys that we play with to stimulate a dogs body and mind. We go for walks in the neighborhood, dog parks, etc.

Availability
My husband and I love animals and are constantly watching dogs for friends, family and clients. We have our own dogs at home that are very dog friendly. We do both work so we require that any dog that we host is crate trained.
