Pet care experience
Hi I have an undergraduate degree in Animal Science (Rutgers), where an internship led to several years working at the Philadelphia Zoo. Before I became a social worker, I was a Veterinary technician and Pet groomer for twenty three years. I often took care of clients' dogs and cats in my house. Medication is no problem, including blood glucose testing and insulin injections for our diabetic friends. I am mature, reliable, and responsible, and I look forward to keeping your pet healthy and happy until you return!

Sharyn is a real pro and takes her pet-sitting role seriously. She is thorough, she's interested in the pets' overall wellbeing, and gives useful and complete updates about her visits. She took very good care of our two cats in our home and we will be sure to use her again in the future.
My pup has always struggled with separation anxiety and has never been well when I traveled, but with Sharyn, it's a completely different story. During her stay, Sharyn provided exceptional care for my dog. Not only did she ensure all of my dog's needs were met, but she also went the extra mile to keep her happy and comfortable. From the pictures and texts to genuine affection, Sharyn exceeded my, and my parents, expectations in every way. A typical day
I like to play fetch, take long walks, and cuddle. If they have a favorite toy, I'll play with them and engage with them that way. I love to talk to them and enjoy their responses. I like to follow the lead of the pet's normal routines, and am happy to brush their fur, utilize a puzzle feeder if you have one, and spend quality time with them so they'll be comfortable and happy.

Availability
I am available for early morning visits, dinner visits and then late night to tuck them into bed. On weekends I'm available to come for additional visits to ensure that your pet has all of the love and affection they need while you're away. I'm happy to provide pictures throughout the time that I'm caring for them to help you feel at ease. Let me know what works for you and your family and I'm sure we can work it out.
