Hello! My name is Sharron and I am a dog walker/runner and drop-in visitor. I have experience with all ages of giant, large and medium breeds, hunting and sporting dogs as well as small companion dogs. : I know how important it is for dogs (big or small) to get exercise everyday to maintain a healthy weight and also prevent them from wreaking havoc on your home. Allowing time outside sniffing is also vital and provides much needed stimulation. A relaxed pup is less likely to be destructive! :) : I look forward to taking care of your pet! I have experience walking, running and playing with many different temperaments and sizes of dogs. I can sense when your pup needs more exercise/attention or has had enough. I am careful to follow all instructions you have for me. I am also aware of our coyote friends in the area and will not leave your dog unattended. I will also stock food and water, dispose of dog poop and will collect mail and water houseplants if needed.

Please let me know if your pet has aggression towards other dogs (or humans). Also, if I need to be aware of special needs, medications or any preferences your dog has for playtime. What toys are their favorite? Can they have treats? Please feel free to share as much information as you would like. You know your dog best! :)
A typical day
I love to get healthy dogs hearts pounding, if they are active. They need exercise just like we do!! :) If not walking, I am happy to stay in the yard and play chase, fetch or just sit and give love if that is what your dog prefers. I also allow them to get the mental stimulation they need, so when we are finished with walks and playtime they are ready for a nice long nap. Also, I currently have a senior dog so I am aware of the extra time and gentle care needed to meet their needs without over doing it. They still love to get out but might prefer more sniffing than walking.

I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy walking, running and playing with pets. I also have a home based business and am able to make my own hours, which allows me the flexibility to pop in and out for drop ins and dog walks as needed.
