Pet care experience
My quiet home is a great solution when your dog is overwhelmed by the larger daycare facilities and kennels. I've nurtured and trained dogs my entire life, from puppies to senior care. I even fostered a wheel-chair-abled Labrador Retriever for about 6 months. I can also care for cats, birds, fish, reptiles and small mammals like bunnies and rats during a home visit. I've parented one Boxer, one Bouvier de Flanders, one Lab mix and about 20 small/medium dogs including "Heinz 57" rescues, Miniature Schnauzers and Yorkies. Currently, I care for Benji (the white Miniature Schnauzer) and Mrs Wiggles (my Rescue - dachshund and herder mix). I'd be delighted to board or walk your pups while you travel or simply have complicated days.

Sharon was an outstanding host for Brooklyn, our beagle. She was loving, diligent about routines (feeding, walks etc.), graciously indulgent (allowed Brooklyn into her bed at night, made home made meals and treats etc.) and regular about picture and video updates. We/Brooklyn are immensely appreciative!!!

Sharon took great care of our dogs, with daily walks, frequent updates, and photos as well! Her two dogs were very welcoming, too - not always easy with our dogs, I’m sure they’d be great with anyone’s pets. Very much looking forward to boarding with Sharon again the next time we leave town!

Let me know if there are any special needs or behavior quirks for your pet. Let me know if your dog has a harness to use during dog walks. I will have a spare on hand if needed. Puppies do not need to be neutered or spayed but they do need to be vaccinated.
A typical day
We walk primarily in the woods and on the paths at Apex Community Park, yards from my patio. On really wet days we stay in the neighborhood and mulched dog park at my apartment home.
