I am pet CPR and First Aid Certified. Your pet will enjoy their home away from home because we will treat them like part of the family. We started this business because we did not want our dog in a kennel cage for a week when we went out of town. We left her with my mom who was too old to handle her high energy and said she could not watch her again. Our dog has some PTSD from having been in a kennel fire and being in a cage her entire life before we rescued her. When we bought the little farm in Waco, GA, we fenced the entire property for Rose to have freedom for the first time in her life. The transformation in her personality was amazing! We found Rover.com when we were looking for a non-cage place to board her. That is when we decided to be a Rover sitter and share our four acre farm with other dog people, who like us, consider their pets part of their family. Your vacation does not have to traumatize your dog. They deserve to have a fun vacation too. You will enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe with us.

We have four acres surrounded by electric, barbed wire fence. We have a redbone coon hound and a border collie to keep your dog company. We have kennels available upon request. We only kennel the dogs to separate them and help them feel safe during feeding time and at night to sleep. Some dogs do not like other dogs. For them, we will customize a similar schedule that offsets the regular schedule. We can have them rest while the other dogs are playing and take them out for play while the others are resting. We will work with your baby to create a safe and positive experience for your pet while you are away. We believe that safety creates happy dogs and happy dog parents. Happy dogs and happy dog parents are the foundation of our business. Thank you for trusting us with your pet.

We require current vaccinations. Current RABIES vaccine is required by the state. To keep everyone’s dog safe, we also require DDHP, KENNEL COUGH, and proof of ongoing flea and tick prevention. If your pet has any special needs or a special diet, please let me know. Please bring your own food, medicine, any favorite snacks, and a T-Shirt or something that smells like you so your fur-baby feels at home. We have food and snacks here for sale if you forget or don’t bring enough.
A typical day
We love to treat your dog to cuddles, butt scratches and plenty of room to run. Frisbees and balls are a favorite game. Chasing squirrels and each other through the wooded area is the ultimate experience for a dog. Some dogs prefer to hang out with us in the house and only go out occasionally. Each has their own personality and we let them choose what will make them happy. The dogs that play outside do get dirty. I will bath your dog before pickup upon request for an extra fee. Our boarding services are 24/7. Drop-off hours are from 5am-8am and pick-up hours are from 5pm-8pm. "From 5 to 8, we open the gate." Having this schedule helps keep a calm environment for the dogs who are playing during the day.
