Pet care experience
As a pet lover and world traveller, I understand how challenging it can be to put your pet on a plane. Neighbors and family friends have called on me to watch their dogs and cats so they can pursue their travel plans. I am very active, attentive, and respectful. Feel free to message me with any special considerations or instructions, and I will be sure to follow through. For the past two years, I have worked with elderly dogs as well as energetic puppies.

Sharon is a lovely person, she's really responsible in her daily life activities, which makes her a committed person on whatever she wants to do. She always takes care of my dog China whenever I need to travel and each time she comes back home, China loves having her. She's sweet and funny, I strongly recommend her for taking care of your pet(s).
Sharon will take very good care of your dog 🐶. She She is conscientious and enthusiastic. She is an outdoors person and she will make sure your dog is well exercised and happy.
Sharon is a very responsible, capable and attentive. She did a great job caring and walking the two dogs and stayed with them house sitting.

I pay attention to detail and follow instructions thoroughly. I will make sure that I follow through on any requests, including returning dogs to crates before locking/leaving the house. I always leave things as found. For example, doors locked, security systems alarmed, and water bowls filled. To keep training continuous and consistent, I try to use the exact same commands that the owners employ.

Please let me know if you have any special requests or needs (including medication for your pet). Your preferences on the route we walk will always be taken into consideration. I appreciate any notes regarding your dog’s triggers (including relevant rescue/background information) or if your pet does not socialize with other pets, for example. If there is no mention, I always avoid interactions with other dogs as a precautionary measure.
A typical day
I love to walk in the local neighborhood for a degree of familiarity until I can build trust with a pet. I never take a new pet off leash. Once I have seen their behavior with other dogs and humans, I will bring a tennis ball for a game of a fetch. If a parent wants a dog to socialize in a local dog run/pet park, I am more than happy to provide close supervision. Exploring new places, especially trails or grassy parks, and discovering a new variation of a game or toy is what makes this job so rewarding.

Availability
As a substitute teacher, I have school vacations and weekends off. Although I am not pursuing pet care as a full-time gig, I am confident that I can offer dog walking when my schedule permits. In the evenings, from 5pm-10pm, I am free to walk! I am currently pet sitting for friends so I am hopeful that other folks in the neighborhood will need a hand during vacation.
