I am a lifelong dog and cat owner (35+ years), I love all animals, and I believe in treating them as family members. At my home or yours, they will be cared for exactly how you ask, and I will keep you updated with regular photos! Having needed pet-sitters for dogs, cats, and horses of my own over the years, I know how important it is to find someone reliable, attentive, communicative, and detail oriented. **I'm happy to take care of pets with special needs, on a case by case basis. Dog Boarding and Doggie Daycare: We live on just over two acres and our front yard is fully fenced for dogs. Our fence is a 4-4.5 ft post and rail with interior dog fence (see gallery pictures), so if your dog is a 'jumper', this is something to consider. While I will be the primary caregiver while your dog is staying with us, my husband will also be present and helping to look after your pups. We both have experience with all types of dogs, especially those who have a hard time socializing with others. We also particularly love big dogs and senior dogs. We've spent significant time in dog behavior, training, and CGC classes with our own dogs and strongly believe in positive reinforcement techniques. While your dog is boarding with us, I will make sure he or she feels at home and has lots of fun! Dog Walking: I can offer dog walking as a single service, or as part of dog boarding/daycare.
