I left my pup with Sharon and her son for over a week. They cared for her and she appeared to come back happy and fed. However, I would encourage better communication. Getting updates from the duo felt like pulling teeth and I was unaware that the son would be watching my pup until I dropped her off (despite meeting prior for a meet and greet). I don’t mind that the son watched my pup but a heads up would have been appreciated. I had to text and ask for updates and photos that sometimes took more than 24 hours to receive. As a Rover provider myself, I felt that this was unprofessional and I try to provide clients with photos daily. The initial drop off was not smooth either. I communicated the window of time that I would drop off and gave them a target time. I also provided a 30 mins notice. I was running late so I did let them know but they still had a 30-60 mins notice before I arrived. When I arrived, the lights were off and no one answered the door. I called, I texted, I knocked and it took more than 20 mins for someone to answer the door. After the door was finally answered, I was then informed that the son would be providing the care. So that’s why I initially felt unease and started texting trying to get updates as I was concerned the care was not a priority since they were not prepared for drop off and almost felt like the son was doing the care because the mom couldn’t…? Not sure why the change. 3 stars because as far as I can tell, the son did a fair job caring for my pup.

They did a great job caring for our fur babies. Our dogs came back happy and healthy. They kept us updated on how they were doing!
