Licensed dog boarder for your pets

Pet care experience

I am a licensed dog boarder registered with Warrington Borough Council, License number HB67. I am working from home full time and have 2 sons living at home with me aged 22 and 14. I have one King Charles Cavalier Spaniel aged 11 who is chilled and friendly. Since being a child a pet has always been part of our family. I have the time to cuddle your dog and take them out on walks in the evening time. Your dogs will have lots of fun through out the day in my large garden. I have a large end house with a secure garden and I have a back garden which is separated from the side garden. I can take your pets on daily walks I have experience with pets from young to old, with disabilities eg blindness, dementia, tripawd and kidney disease where extra love, time and attention and medication have been needed. I feel because I work from home all day your pet is comforted and reassured by just having me there with them.

Sharon was great and we were very confident leaving our golden retriever with her. We booked fairly last minute and would definitely recommend

Sharon went above and beyond to make sure Scamp was settled throughout his stay. It felt like home from home and Sharon gave us regular updates. I cannot recommend anybody better!

Sharon was really great with my dog Yuki and took good care of her . She also has beautiful yard completely fenced where your dog can play around

Sharon was really accommodating with managing drop off and pick up with my friend as I was on holiday. She sent updates of Elsie who looked like she was right at home and having the best time. I just need another holiday booked so I can book in with Sharon again.

Luckily I have 2 gardens that are separate from each other. Therefore pets can enjoy quality time with each other during supervised play time but also have access to my private back garden if they are shy and prefer their own space. My house has an alarm as well as cameras. I have name tags with my details on for each pet and/or apple Air tag collars for added security.

Information Sharon L. would like to know about your pet

I would love to hear about your pet...so I can get to know them and hopefully keep to your routine with your pet as much as possible. If you can tell me your dogs likes and dislikes, commands he/she understands or if your dog is anxious in certain situations or around people I will accommodate this and help where I can so your pet settles well and is cared for in the right way. I wouldn't be able to accommodate a pet who is anxious or scared around other dogs unfortunately and I'm not able to accommodate pets who have excessive barking or are anxious if left on their own for 3 hours or less. I expect all pets that I board to be upto date with their vaccinations and proof to be provided. If your pet is not upto date, you can contact your vet who will advise you further of what is needed but you need to allow 4 weeks before boarding so they can be vaccinated. Pets will also be expected to have been treated for fleas/worming. Before any boarding I would arrange a visit so we can both meet up and meet each others pets to make sure your pets would be fine at my home and that I am the right sitter for your pets needs. I can also arrange a trial run if the owner requests this at a reduced price

A typical day

Your pet can have fun in my big side garden where we will play games such as ball, Frisbee or they can have a run or a nice chill walking round the garden. I like my pet and your pets to have supervised time together but I also like my pets to have their own time and your pet to have time with just me. This way I find it isn't too much for pets especially when they're not used to living with another pet full time. Your pet will sleep separately from mine at night. I try to stick to your routine as much as possible. I try for a seamless transition from your home to mine for your pet, hoping if I keep to your routine as much as possible it will help your pet to settle in more. As well as play time and cuddles I can take your dog on a daily walk if this is part of their routine. Your pet will no doubt get to meet my extended family members, ranging from old to young, however this will obviously depend on your pet and how he/she is around people. I prefer low to medium energy pets that are happy to chill in the day and have a nice long/short walk if needed in the evening as I work from home during the day.

I work full time from home. I try to stick to your routine as much as possible and I'm pretty flexible. Tea time or evening walks are best for me but your pets can make use of my large garden during the day as mine do. Due to my children being older I have a lot more spare time now and I have found a great enjoyment in boarding pets. Providing love, care, time and attention to your pets just as I do with mine not only comforts your pets whilst you're away but I get so much enjoyment out of it as well, especially our play time in the garden and walks and cuddles.
