Just your neighborly dog-sitter

Pet care experience

Hi there! My name is Sharon and I absolutely adore and love animals. I am responsible and faithful to my commitments. I got into Rover because of how much I miss caring for dogs and for the mutual love and fun of it. I know the struggle and apprehension that comes with leaving your loved one for a while, and hope that the high level of attention and care I can provide will put your mind at ease. My grandmother owned a Poodle named Tutu that I took care of occasionally with separation anxiety, so I'm comfortable with pets who need extra love during their stay. I also owned a Toy Maltese in the past and so I am able to prioritize between my regular daily activities and spending quality time with your pup. I currently own a cat named Ophelia and she is very calm and affectionate. She does not get spooked by other pups in our vicinity and she is actually very chill and intrigued about it which I'm very thankful about. There is always supervision. My mom is involved with every sitting and there is always someone in the apartment, watching over your loved one. I strongly believe pets shouldn't be left alone for long periods of time. I'll treat your pup like family with love, attention, responsibility and honesty while you are away. I’ll only take requests when I know I’ll have the time and space to care for your pup. I do not have any training certificates or a professional educational background related to animals, but I’m educated with common sense and courtesy. Any reasonable request will be accommodated. I enjoy feeling responsible for keeping our furry friends happy and healthy. They pay us back 10 times more with cuddles, purrs, and in helping us feel less lonely! Please feel free to message me for more information. I’d be happy to answer any questions!

We had to find a last minute sitter for our bichon Mochi and Sharon was perfect. She was flexible with our schedule and a very sweet person. She took great care of Mochi and sent lots of updates and pics which put us at ease. Mochi came back happy and no problems. She was even nice enough to give Mochi a little treat bag of handmade treats as a going home present! I would definitely recommend Sharon and will be using her again.

Sharon is a very caring person. She can be relied upon and is very loyal. I’ve known her since high school and she is so down to earth. Another trait that impresses me is her patience. She listens attentively and is compassionate about what she does. I remember the days where she owned “Snoopy” her little Maltese pup. Snoopy was so small and super adorable. Although due to personal reasons she’s no longer with her, I know her love for animals is real and will always will be. Every time we’re walking along and she sees a dog pass by, she can’t take her eyes of them. I’m sure she’ll make a great pet sitter on the side as she’s such a responsible being. Or she’ll probably be cuddling with them 24/7…lol.
