We owned a sweet little Bichon for almost 18 yrs, now he's gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Our home and hearts are empty without him. Watching a Shihtzu for a friend brought us happiness again. We would be happy to give your pet loving care while you are away. We are very conscientious and caring. We desire to watch only small dogs 15 lbs and under that do not shed. About this sitter: My husband and I are dog lovers. We owned a sweet little Bichon for almost 18 years until he was taken to the Rainbow Bridge. We understand that your furry baby is not just a dog, he/she is part of your family and we will treat your pet with loving care. I keep my home very clean and hope that your pet will be clean when he/she arrives. I wouldn't want to get fleas in the house since they are difficult to get rid of. I would also want your dog to be protected against Rabies & heart worm for his/her own good and ours as well. I treat all the pets I watch with the love and attention they deserve. I'm a stay at home person so your pet wouldn't be left alone. I'm also aware older dogs have special needs as ours did as he aged. We still miss our little boy. Why I love dog sitting: Our home is empty without without a dog. We'd love to take care of your furry baby with tender loving care while your away from home. Meet my pets We no longer have a pet. Our home is empty without a dog but we have room for yours and would love to have him/her visit us and take great care of your baby until you return. . My experience administering medication: I’m use to giving meds to dog with needs. I wrap pills in something they like to eat with meds in the middle.

Sharon was such a great host and caretaker to our bichon. She made sure to learn all about him and his routines, so that she could best care for him. She kept me posted with plenty of picture updates. I couldn’t recommend her and her husband more. Very thankful for the loving care they provided and will certainly book again!

We would want to be sure he/she is up to date on their Rabies shots and make sure they are free of flees. We love all dogs but can only handle dogs 15 lbs and under that do not shed. Your dog is welcome in our bedroom but our rule is, no dogs on the bed. We can place your doggies bed beside ours. They are free to run the house, I have a cover for my sofa so they can use it anytime. We do have a restriction on the time we can watch your dog, we require your pet stay no longer than 4 nights in a row, especially if it’s your first visit.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks. Outside on the front sidewalk.We also have large grassy areas for the dog to enjoy but we are not allowed to take him/her off the leash. We have a spot in our bedroom where our doggie bed use to be, we would want him/her to be close to us in case we hear that they require attention during the night. Time: I will spend lots of time with your dog, I'm a stay at home person. I may run a few errands to the grocery & so on but I'm never gone more than 2-3 hrs at a time.
