I had to take a break from Rover.com while caring for my husband but I am ready to meet some new fur friends! I have had a dog/dogs in our home for the past 30 years while raising our children. Now I am an empty nester looking to fill my days with more fur, whiskers and wagging tails! I also have experience with dogs that have had cancer and severe food allergies. Let me be a play date for your special family member. About this sitter: I was a stay-home mom for 22 years and now I want to work again with dogs that need someone to love them while their owner/owners are busy or away. I have always used pet sitters when our family has gone out of town, so I know how important finding the right pet sitter is! Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs my whole life and I have personally owned dogs for the past 30 years. Their unconditional love has brought great joy to my life! My experience administering medication Yes, I am comfortable with pills and injections. I am not working, other than caring for dogs around the Southpark/Chatlotte area. I have free time to visit or watch your dog/dogs overnight. My children are grown so I can certainly house sit too. I am happy to walk or play with your dog however they enjoy their exercise time! I think it’s important to stick to the dogs routine as much as possible when their moms/dads are away.

Sharon took care of our senior dog while we were out of town. He had a hurt paw and she gave him his medications. He had fun playing and hanging out and we felt at ease knowing Sharon takes such good care of him.
Sharon was awesome with my 10 year old rescue dog. She was flexible, gave me updates and pictures. My dog had a great time staying with her and Kohrs (her pup)!
Sharon was amazing! When I dropped off Maizy, I knew she would be taken care of and that I needn't worry about her while we were away. Sharon sent pictures and updates to me while we were gone to reassure me as well. She has 2 other dogs that Maizy loved to play with! I will definitely be a repeat customer! I have a small fenced in yard that your dog can play in and I never leave them out there unattended. I back up to a wooded area so there are always great smells for the dogs!

I am highly allergic to cats, so I can not house sit/or spend the night in a home with cats. I have personally owned two Golden Retrievers , one Labrador retriever, I currently have a mixed breed rescue, and I have been a pet sitter for many other breeds of dogs.
A typical day
I love to take the dogs on walks around your neighbor or to some of the local parks...as long as the dogs are completely updated with their vaccines. I love to play fetch with your pup and let them just enjoy sniffing the outdoors!

I am currently working part-time a few days a week so I would need to leave the house but my shifts are no longer than 5 hours. When I am not working I’m home most of the day and evening.
