I've been in your shoes! I first used Rover to find a dogsitter, so I understand your anxieties and concerns: "Will my dog be safe and comfortable and happy?" My philosophy as the host is to be the DREAM dogsitter that I would've wanted for my beloved pup. As a dog lover who is obsessed with the well-being and safety of my 9lb maltipoo Chewie, I have the perfect setup to care for your precious fur-baby while you're away. My property has a large yard that is fully fenced in so you'll never have to worry about your dog getting loose. I also love to give affection and cuddles all day long, so your dog will never be neglected. Chewie and I are very active - we go on daily walks so we're happy to take your dog along for the adventure (with your permission). Chewie loves to play with other little dogs, so why not give your pup a nice vacation complete with a best bud & paw-tner in crime! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BOARDING: - Meet & Greet is non-negotiable and must be done within 2 days of boarding request - please let me know if you're comfortable allowing your dog to go on walks & adventures with me and Chewie, or if you prefer your dog to stay within the security of my property at all times. - additional fees apply for: ^^^ if your dog is not crate trained and/or needs constant care, my rate is $49/night ^^^ extended stays longer than 10 days (new clients only) ^^^ medication administration DAYCARE: - daycare is 8 hours + 2 hours grace period; daycare for more than 10hrs will be $25/day No drop-offs or pick-ups between 9pm-7am DOG-WALKING & DROP-INs: - currently only servicing the Shadow Creek Ranch area (west of 288 & north of 512) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sharon was great with our maltipoo! He was well cared for and enjoyed his time with her. Sharon's love of dogs is obvious, as is her experience with handling (and loving) them. There was a great, fenced yard for the dogs to play in and Sharon kept us updated throughout Donut's stay. So grateful for her care!
Sharon and her husband were awesome! I could tell our baby was being well taken care of and loved very much. Great updates and communication! Definitely recommend and will be using again!?

My 7500sqft property is fully fenced in and I routinely check for security risks. I have security cameras everywhere and especially monitoring any gates/exits. I also have cameras inside the house where Chewie waits for me while I'm out running errands, so I can keep an eye on him even when I'm not home. The prospect of my fur-baby getting loose is literally my worst nightmare (and thankfully has never happened), so your dog will be just as safe and secure as mine. Inside my home, I've also enacted safety measures such as keeping any foods or toxic plants inaccessible (eg: chocolate is only kept in a closed pantry, no raisins allowed in the house, etc). I'm constantly aware of what Chewie is up to, so your dog will receive the same amount of attention and supervision.

My preference is for small breeds up to 15lbs, because Chewie is only 9lbs and he plays best with other dogs his size. Please let me know if: - your dog has been crate trained and/or needs to continue crate training - is your dog low, medium, or high energy? - is your dog is a nervous/excited pee-er and/or known to mark at new houses? - does your dog have separation anxiety? - does your dog tend to chew on things that are not dog toys? (ex: shoes, cords) - where does your dog usually like to sleep? - is your dog allowed treats? (ingredients provided upon request) - any other special accommodations I can make for your dog
A typical day
I LOVE playing with dogs, whether it's playing fetch, or tug-of-war, or even rolling around the floor goofing off. I also love taking Chewie on walks; I usually walk 3 miles with him everyday. I have numerous safe routes around my neighborhood ranging from a half mile to 8 miles!

I'm home full time, as is my husband, so there will always be a human cuddling and loving your dog! Rest assured your dog will never be lonely or confined to a crate (unless instructed by you for training purposes).
