I fall in love with the dogs I watch immediately. I’m very concerned about their well-being & happiness. Since I am home all day with them, I talk to them and take time to give them love and I love to play with them. I am very tuned into their moods and activity. If I have any concerns, I let their parents know right away. I have a teacup Shih Tzu named Bella & love her to pieces. I’ve watched many dogs over the years for family and friends and started watching them on Rover for quite some time!! I love meeting new dogs and their parents too! When I can help a dog and his or her parents in need, I feel very happy and find this rewarding!! Your dog will get lots of love from me while you’re away at work or play!! My mom had 2 dogs and so did I and we always watched each other’s dogs when needed. I am very used to handling multiple dogs and giving each one individual attention. I am also used to giving oral medication to dogs or ear drops, etc. I am very attuned to each dog’s needs. Some are perfectly happy to be somewhere new and some have anxiety. I always know by the dog’s demeanor which category they fall into and make sure to do everything that I can to help the dog who might be anxious. I’m loving and kind to all my dogs. Usually, when a dog is in a new place, they will have some “accidents” instead of doing their business outside until they get used to my home. This doesn’t upset me at all. Sometimes, dogs won’t eat right away at a new place. I try to alleviate this problem by separating the dogs so they feel more comfortable eating their food. Dogs are very smart and, so far, I haven’t had any problems. They each have their own personality and I enjoy discovering each one!!
