Pet care experience
I’ve had animals all my life. I grew up with dogs, cats and rabbits and the odd hamster, rat and fish. I have had my own cats as soon as I could when I moved into my own home. I worked in a veterinary practice over the last year but my contract has now finished. Before this I was a physiotherapist for 30 years specialising in children for the last 23 years but have made the decision to leave the NHS and branch into a new career/direction. I have done volunteer dog walking and cat sitting over the last year too and am just wanting to branch out now and increase my face to face pet care now I have more time. I have frequently looked after my neighbours pets whilst they are away.

Sharon did a great job looking after my dog Kiki. Kiki had recently had an operation so required some special care which Sharon was happy to provide. Sharon is a kind and friendly lady and I would be more than happy to have her look after Kiki again.

I own my own home and have a safe fenced garden with no current pets of my own so this is all safe. I prefer to look after pets in their own home if it is for more than just a walk as I think they are more comfortable and settled. I can also house sit and ensure your home is safe and secure if you are away for more than a day.

A typical day
I sadly lost my cat recently so it has changed rather. She used to wake me early for her breakfast and I miss our cuddle times. I would love to be able to now give my love to other pets.

I am currently extremely flexible in my time for pet care. I am in between jobs at the moment so can do any time of day depending on your and your pets needs.
