Pet care experience
I am a 40 something professional woman who has been an animal lover all my life. I had a beagle growing up and then a rescue that was a mixed breed. As a child, I rescued more than my fair share of stray kittens and then raised 2 healthy labradors who were my babies. After my labs passed away I have fostered over 30 different breeds of dogs. I specialize in large breeds like Mastiffs, St. Bernards and Great Danes. The bigger and goofier the better! Not only will I take good care of, but I promise to also love on your dog while you are away. I am a responsible care taker who can handle sick or elderly pets. Once I adopted a 9.5 year old great dane mix and gave her a good home until the end of her life. Currently I am living in Legend Oaks in Summerville with my new husband, who is also a big animal lover! Hopefully you can see that taking care of animals has been a life long passion of mine.

This was our first time using rover.com and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Sharlene was perfect! She took great care of our animals and our home while we were away. She was always on time, stayed in contact while we were gone, and did everything she was supposed to do! We highly recommend her and we will definitely book her again anytime we are traveling.
Sharlene was so wonderful to all our pets and sent updates throughout her stay. She even replaced a toy that our dog destroyed. She has an awesome spirit about her and even our extremely shy cat slept with her. We will definitely use her again!
Sharlene took great care of our animals and home while we were away! She set up a meet and greet and then came over prior to us leaving to go over everything once again. She kept in contact while we were out of country and reassured us everyone was well taken care of. She even cleaned the sheets and cleaned up prior to leaving, which is above and beyond what I expected to come home to. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone, and I definitely plan on using her in the future. I was very hesitant about inviting a stranger into my home prior to leaving the country, but as soon as I met Sharlene my mind was at ease as you can tell she’s a genuinely great person with a heart for animals. Cant thank her enough! Her husbands great too!
Sharlene was great! I highly recommend her as a house and dog sitter. I have two large energetic golden doodles and she came over the day before to learn their daily two mile walk routine, where their food was stored, how to deliver their medicine, and how the house worked. She gave me updates telling me she had arrived and when she was leaving. She stripped the bed and washed her sheets and towels before leaving. Their was no mess left behind and my dogs seemed happy. I'm picky and particular and Sharlene left me with peace of mind which allowed me to enjoy my weekend away from my dogs.
