Pet care experience
Having grown up with most all animals, especially dogs, I could never live without one! I have owned and cared for many different types of pets my whole life. I grew up in an agricultural oriented family, most being Ranchers, Nurses, Vet Techs etc. I have raised dogs, horses and other various farm animals, as well as birds, reptiles and fish etc., and would be happy to care for them as well. I have Veterinary Technician experience and am comfortable administering medications and other needed treatments. I also have dog grooming & some show experience. I am a Massage Therapist, Reiki Master and also work with other Holistic modalities. Something special I can offer is Massage or Reiki Energy Healing sessions for your pets. Our pets are members of the family, each with their own personalities. I live with my wonderful husband of 19years & our 3 dog fur babies. I understand the unconditional love they bring into our daily lives. That is why I put my heart and soul into my work with them. You can be assured your pet will be safe, happy & loved while in my care!

Oh my gracious! Sharla has been a godsend. My 3 bernedoodles sitting home all day while I am at work, they would just act out when I got home. I have Sharla come in, during the day, for drop in visits, and the dogs look forward to it. She spends so much time with them and they love playing fetch and catch with the cool toys she brings. She sends me the greatest pics each day, which makes me feel so much better; and I always feel bad for my dogs on the days I stay home and they don’t get to see her.

We have a German Shepard and a little Beagle mix that are loved like our children! Sharla has been house sitting and dog sitting for us for over 10 years now. She listens and respects our requests and goes above and beyond. She has a gift with animals and loves them like they were her own. Since I’ve know her, she is always rescuing and healing whatever animal or person crossed her path. She is trustworthy and has also taken care of my parents and in-laws home and animals for years as well. It is nice to be able to relax knowing our fur babies are taken care of!
Sharla is amazing! First time having two Akita’s our life. I work weird schedule on weekends. Needed help on pet sitting the 9 week old puppies. She was very close where I live. Met her and her husband, Jessie, before sitting because she has 3 dogs and wanted to make sure her dogs will be ok with them and the puppies don’t freak out. Her dogs are amazing and very sweet to them. Made the puppies feel like home and so playful with them. She has send photos of the dogs playing and napping together. Melted my heart! She knew what she is doing for them and they even love her and Jessie! Puppies didn’t wanted to come home. Haha! And they slept so well that night. I ask her advice how to properly manage them and what helps training them. All her tricks work very well with them! I couldn’t be more thankful to have them as our pet sitter and becoming friends!??

I have a large fenced backyard for my 3 dogs: a 4yr old Lab/pit mix, 11yr old Heeler mix and a 2 yr old Border Collie. But I admit they are mostly spoiled lap dogs! I have owned Australian Cattle Dogs, German Shepherds & husky’s for 20 years so I am very experienced with high energy breeds. My life revolves around my dogs so you can be assured it will revolve around yours too!
