*We are only able to host hypoallergenic breeds.* We are a family of 6, 4 children ages 11-21. They are all respectful and gentle with animals. Our children walk neighbors dogs and help care for dogs when neighbors are out of town. Two of our four children are schooled from home allowing your dog to get plenty of attention, walks, play, petting, snuggles and gentle care. Your dog will be brought outside to explore the yard, sit in the fresh air, play and go for walks if they like and weather permits. We are flexible and happy to accommodate your requests for your pets allowing you to relax knowing they are well cared for. We'd love the opportunity to care for your dog! This is the 2nd time our miniature schnauzer has stayed with Shari. Can I tell you how comforting it is to leave our little dog with her? It's like finding the perfect daycare for your kids, you can go to work and not worry or think about them all day. Lexie is a snuggly dog and desperately needs a lap to sit in every single day. She gets those needs met by Shari and her kids. Something I could never find in a doggie hotel. I am SO thankful I found her!
Sheri took good care of our elderly dog and understood his needs. It was nice to have him in a home.
Shari and her family made our dog feel so at home during his stay! We appreciated the frequent updates and photos. We will definitely ask them to take care of our pup again in the future 😄

We do not have a fenced yard, but we do leash or tether dogs when we go outside for walks, potty or to play. We do prefer to have a kennel incase we need to leave. Often times it will be limited use or whatever your dog is used to.

*Due to allergies we are only hosting family friendly hypoallergenic breeds.* To ensure the best care for your dog we'd love to know what your dog enjoys, favorite spots to scratch, favorite games to play and a typical schedule for feeding/treats and potty breaks. Please provide whatever is necessary for your pets comfort: a leash, blanket, kennel, food, treats… we do have plenty of toys so you can leave your toys at home.
A typical day
We go for walks in our neighborhood. Play fetch and tug of war. Dogs are brought outside multiple times a day to enjoy the outdoors and get exercise.
