My love for animals is second to none. Of course, I have always grown up around animals but I have a passion for furbabies that has grown as I get older. With pet sitting during high school and volunteer work and training for a dog rescue, I have gained the knowledge and care it takes to care for pets with all sorts of personality differences and needs (and sizes). I am the mom to a teenage son (who also absolutely loves to take care of animals), 2 dogs (Carissa, an elderly black lab, and Shadow, a young German Shepard/ husky mix), 1 cat (Harvey), as well as some reptiles. We are used to having dogs coming into our home as we have had several fosters stay for training. I am self- employed which gives me the freedom of flexibility and control of my daily schedule. This means that I have plenty of time to play, walk, and love on your babies. Also as a business owner, I know it is important to follow directions, maintain a safe environment, and create a good relationship with clients. I do have experience with elderly pets with special needs, such as walking disabilities and medicine dispensing. I do prefer one family's pets at a time unless pets have already been socialized together.
