Pet care experience
I have taken care of cats since I was a young kid. After losing my elderly cat of 18 years I set my heart on getting a dog. Unfortunately my schedule wouldn’t allow for getting a dog of my own, but I would LOVE to help care for yours! I have helped some friends with their dog care, going for walks and more formal dog sitting with dogs ranging from 2 years old to 16 years old. I also have extensive experience with cat and cat sitting, including caring for elderly cats, to contribute. I go on walks daily and would be happy to take your furry friend with me, let them out for a mid-day break, or keep them company overnight! I am very conscious about the worry that can go into being away from our pets, and promise to treat yours with the same love and care as I do my own pets. Spending some time with your pets would make me as happy as I hope it makes them :)

Sharene was wonderful with my shy cats. She seems to have a natural understanding of animals and how to gain their trust. Check-in notes were nicely detailed and she even went the extra mile to clear some of the driveway when it snowed, which was unexpected but greatly appreciated to come home to. Sharene is kind and responsible and I would absolutely work with her again.
Sharene is a quiet spoken dog walker who was very well received by us and Mika! She was prompt and our doggo really enjoyed her walks!

I love to meet each dogs needs based off their personality. That might be playing with their toys, running with them, going on a slow walk and sniffing things as we go or playing in some water, as well as giving them lots of pets and companionship.

I currently have an open schedule as my seasonal farming work recently ended, and am focusing on pet sitting during the holiday season. I am available any day/time of the week for dog walking, drop-ins or house sittings.
