Hello, my name is Shardé and I'm a once full-time Rover sitter looking to return to the pet care scene part-time! I'm here to help people seeking someone to care for, walk, and entertain their beloved pets the way I'd want someone to care for mine! I currently live in Mt. Airy and am planning a move to Austin, Texas in the next year! I cater to pet parents outside of Mt. Airy, so don't be discouraged! I've always loved animals (especially dogs and cats, I have 2), and I hope that Rover will continue to bring me the opportunity to help others with theirs. I'm not only a Rover sitter for your fur babies, I'm also an everyday person with fur babies as well. Never be nervous about asking me a million questions, or to take care of some house tasks for you while you're gone (ex: bringing in mail). Like I mentioned earlier, I was a Rover sitter full-time for about a year+ and for some I continued to dog-sit/walk regularly! I loved the time spent caring for other's animals, and am excited to get to do it again! Hope to hear from you soon!

Sharde watched our 5-month-old puppy who suffers from separation/confinement anxiety. From the moment she met our pup she was so great with him. She is such a pleasant person and provided reliable service at short notice. Would definitely hire her again and highly recommend her!
Sharde is a LIFESAVER. My sitter fell through the night before I left town and Sharde was incredibly accommodating and willing to come last minute. She stayed over with my furbaby for 3 nights and took amazing care of her. She sent frequent updates and pictures and responded to every message quickly. When I got home, my Summer's reaction was basically "Oh. I guess you're home now. Yawn." which is how you know your pup had a great time without you! I would absolutely recommend Sharde to anyone, especially if this is your first time using Rover (or any sitter, like I was) and you're sort of skeptical of the whole thing. Sharde is professional, communicative, and will give your dog all the love and attention that you could want.

A typical day
I live in Mt. Airy, which is surrounded by plenty of dog parks and green lots where people walk their dogs. All neighborhoods around the city are within 10-20min from me. There will definitely be no lack of exercise for your pets, because I love walks (or runs)! I'd like to get to know as much as possible about you as well as your pets through a Meet & Greet before scheduling our stay. I WON'T accept a stay without a Meet & Greet first. It's crucial to make sure we're comfortable with each other, and that I get to learn everything I need to know about your pet before we commit to the stay.

Availability
I'm currently employed full-time, and work Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM. I work from home which allows me to be as mobile as possible with my laptop!
