I have fenced yard, 24/7 recording survalince, and a large second story terrace, will work something up if your pup needs his/her own space, also even though our fence is very high and we have no escape stories, we use airtag as an extra caution just incase you have a flying dog😅, that's how we think when it comes to the safty of your pet.
