Pet care experience
I have grown up my entire life with dogs, in fact my first steps were because I wanted to see puppies in another room. I have a passion for animals and love caring for them. I got my first dog for my 3rd birthday and have been dog sitting for the last 10 years. I can ensure your dogs will be well cared for and given enormous amounts of attention! I grew up with small dogs and currently own a Great Pyrenees/ Lab so I am well versed in all dog sizes. I keep a clean house even though there can be a lot of shedding with big dogs. My husband and I both work from home so dogs are never left alone very long. I am very good about feeding them on time, brushing if necessary and giving medications if needed. I can't stress enough my love for dogs and how well I will treat yours if they stay with me.

We have a 5 month old Maltipoo puppy which had never been boarded and recently we had to travel to Lewisville, TX for a family wedding. We needed to board our pup for two different periods, but had no idea how to find someone. A family member found Shannon for us through the Rover App. She was everything we could have hoped for: kind, gentle, patient & considerate. She gave our pup wonderful care. We give Shannon our highest recommendation!
Shannon and Nick did an amazing job taking care of zeke. We had left Zeke with them for about 20 days during our trip overseas. They were very prompt in keeping us informed on a daily basis, feeding him and in making sure he got all the attention he needed. I have not seen zeke so comfortable with any other dog sitter in the past 7 yrs, we found ourselves a permanent dog sitter. Highly recommend.
Shanon was great at communicating and my dog came back super happy and tired- highly recommend!!

We have a big backyard with a very tall and sturdy fence. We have a black lab/Pyrenees that will keep your pup busy playing outside. One of us goes out every 20-30 min to check on them/refill water. Once they are worn out we usually let them in for nap time. Pets are allowed on the furniture and can pretty much do whatever they want. We close off carpeted rooms when we have puppies so they still have freedom to run around (unless advised otherwise by pet parents).

A typical day
I know dogs like to be the center of attention so you can rest assured knowing your dog is getting all the pets and cuddles. Our big back yard is perfect for getting out the zoomies or playing fetch. We have puzzles and lick mats to keep them occupied and their brains stimulated. And a huge bin of that is sure to have something they will love to play with.

Availability
I work from home everyday and can do a lunchtime walk or drop in. I can also do morning and night drop Ins and walks. My husband and I have different work schedules so someone is home most the time. We are very flexible and can accommodate most needs.
