I am a high school teacher here in Rock Hill. I have a background in Biology and have had pets all my life. I love all animals. I currently have an Aussie, a cat, and two guinea pigs. I am very responsible and attentive. I pay attention to detail and promise to give your furry loved one the love and attention they need. My knowledge of animal behavior also helps me connect with animals and has allowed me to help my mom foster kittens, puppies, and even squirrels. I love teaching and want to do something that I love with my free time this summer. From babysitting children to handling 32 teenagers in a classroom, I promise that your pet/family member will be in good hands.

We unfortunately had to put down our other dog, Hank, and we needed someone to watch Baylee while we could have some time alone with Hank. Shannon was available last minute to watch Baylee for a couple of hours and it helped us out tremendously!
Shannon was amazing. She gave us updates everyday, I can tell my dogs were well taken care of. I got video updates as well of the dogs playing. We will definitely be using her again!
Shannon was amazing with our dog, Baylee, and our cat, Hagrid! Baylee warmed right up to her and would cuddle up with her on the couch when she came to let her out and feed her. She followed our directions perfectly and we will definitely be hiring her again in the future when going out of town!

I have a fenced in back yard and a playful Aussie to help keep them company. I also have a crate if needed and plenty of comfy places for them to sleep. My bed is open for them if they need to snuggle at night.

I have taken care of a wide range of needs for dogs from a dachshund who had back surgery and couldn’t walk to dogs with high anxiety. Please let me know how I can make them most comfortable and I promise I will accommodate.
A typical day
I have tons of toys for them to play with. The backyard is shaded so we can stay outside as long as they like! Walking is very easy in my neighborhood with plenty of friendly people near by.

Availability
I teach full time so weekends are best during the school year. I am available the whole week in the summer. During the school year I leave at 7 and can get back at 4 if your furry friend can be left alone for that amount of time.
