I have over 35 years of experience caring for many kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and native wildlife. My journey through life has always involved providing for the needs of animals, plants and people. I have been (and still am) a certified vet assistant, native wildlife rehabilitation specialist, pet-sitter, and animal lover. Throughout my journey, I have learned that kindness, patience, love and empathy are the keys to understanding the natural world around us. Every step along life's path has added knowledge and experience that enables me to nurture the parts of that natural world we choose to include in our lives - from the garden that provides beauty, sustenance and peace to the feathred, furry and scaled critters we choose to be members of our family. I am no longer a part of the mainstream workforce, which allows me the time to focus my energy on your natural world. May our paths cross in happiness.

Great Job!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Shannon! We live in an RV fulltime, and wanted to take a quick trip without the RV. I was so grateful to learn that Shannon is very knowledgeable on RV living. She took great care of our dogs, cat, and RV while we were gone. She was easy to contact, came for a meet and greet, showed up on time, kept me updated with text and photos, and left our home cleaner than we left it. I would absolutely use her again when we come through the area.
Shannon was absolutely amazing! Couldn’t have been more satisfied and comfortable with her staying at my place and watching the pups for the day. Highly highly recommend and will definitely refer to her whenever we need it!
This was the second time Shannon has watched our pup. Her, and her family, love our dog like family. Shannon will always be our go to doggy sitter!
