Pet care experience
I think it's important to find someone who cares and loves your pet as much as you do while your away! I have previous work experience at a dog day care and at local vets. I also volunteered at a wildlife clinic for a year while attending Iowa State. I've pet sat for friends dogs in the past and always enjoy spending time with animals. I have had 2 dogs and 5 cats at my house, definitely an animal lover. I have plenty of hands on experience with dogs, cats, birds, etc. I can do house sitting, walks, or just check ins during the day. I am more than open with most things and suggestions. Shannon was absolutely wonderful! She was enthusiastic, caring and very attentive. We will definitely be using Shannon again to look after our dog.
I have two large dogs, one old and one young, and Shannon checked on them twice a day for me while I was out of town. She was very reliable and spent time with the dogs playing with them, taking them on walks and sending me videos and pictures. I would recommend Shannon and plan to use her in the future when I need a pet sitter!
Shannon S has been a neighbor for many years in Iowa. She has had a love for animals as long as I have known her. For being the oldest of five children, she was responsible for the younger kids and their pets quite often when her parents were at work. Her dad is a trucker and mother a teacher who was taking classes for her Master's when the kids were younger. Their family has had at least 2 dogs and a few cats in their home and we'll taken care of. When she moved to North Carolina she took two her cata with her and they seem to be acclimated to their new home. Shannon would be a great asset to Rover.
