Pet care experience
I'm a SAHM, with a part time job. I've had dogs and cats all of my life and I've recently fostered for a local rescue, Cause For Paws. We lost our senior cat and dog last year. Pet sitting is something that I've had an interest in for a while, so I'm excited to start with Rover! I would love to find local families I can help out, while getting a bit of exercise and supplementing my family's income. My rates are low, since I'm a newbie and I am happy to discuss your pets' interests and your schedule. I am available during school hours (10 am-2pm), weekdays and possibly weekends. I may add hours or days, if business picks up. Thank you for your consideration!

I can’t recommend Shannon enough. She cared for our older dog, Minnie, until she passed and then our new puppies, Charlotte and Sylvie, on an ongoing weekly basis while we were at work. She goes above and beyond what most would for a visit. All dogs have loved her visits. I appreciate the daily photos and updates. She is very trustworthy and I don’t know how I’m going to manage without her now that I must move.
Shannon drops-in for potty breaks for my 15 & 1/2 mini dachshund 2 or 3 times each week when I have to work. She comes twice daily. She is always on time and Minnie immediately responded positively to her and looks forward to her visits. She is willing to do extras like cleaning up accidents, bringing in packages on the porch, etc. and always spends plenty of time with Minnie, who likes to do a lot of sniffing outside! She always provides a Rover card and a photo after each visit. I would highly recommend her if you need a long term person due to work, and short term for vacations, as well. She is very reliable.
