Pet care experience
I have 10+ years of experience caring for other dogs, mainly large breeds (labs, malamutes). I have a 6 year old mix named Obi-wan (cattle dog, border collie, hound, & more). He gets along well with all other dogs and is an old soul. I would be happy to do a meet and greet before your dog spends time with him. My first dog was a siberian husky, Gus, that my family bred and I trained and raised since he was a puppy. I am very experienced with all stages of doghood and can offer patience, confident guidance, and a fun and relaxed environment for your dog to feel comfortable in. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast but also just as happy enjoying the comforts of home - so whatever your dogs needs are, from low to high energy we will enjoy ourselves! Shannon is perfect for the job. I chose her and have no regrets. She had my 3 month old puppy over nights during the weekend and everything worked out great. Her dog Gus was a gentle giant with my puppy. Shannon is caring, laid back, patient and responsible. She replies to your messages quickly and is polite. I will definitely use her again.

I have a fenced in yard and am used to having other dogs join me and Obi for any amount of time. I am home often and when I’m not home, I would leave Obi for maximum 4-5 hours. I don’t crate him but would be happy to do so if yours needed.

A typical day
Where-ever your dogs heart desires! we love rivers, dog parks, the bike path, hikes, or walks on the town. I have a meadow path down to a brook in my backyard we visit daily. Or if your dog wants to nap we can accommodate!

Availability
I work from home and me and Obi typically go on 3 walks a day - a long one in the morning before work, a shorter lunch walk, and a longer post dinner walk. I also have a fully fenced in backyard.
