I’m Shannon, dog mom to Blue (5, Australian Shepherd mix) and formerly Maizee (almost 10 year old black lab mix, who passed in March 2021). My biggest priority as a Rover sitter and dog mom is to provide a space where the pups feel safe, comfortable, and loved (whether it’s in my home, theirs, or on a walk). I want to provide your pets the same care, and you the peace of mind, I would expect of anyone caring for my sweet pups. I will touch base with you on your pet’s needs and any expectations. I will also check in with you while your pet is in my care (we all love dog pics, right?!). I live with my boyfriend (and fellow dog lover), Kyle, in our house that has a fenced in yard (privacy fence), in a dog-friendly neighborhood. We’ve cared for many family members’, friends’, and clients’ dogs while they’ve been away. I work from home full time, so the pups gets lots of attention and time to play outside! Blue is the softest, most cuddly guy and loves fetch. His fav activity is going for evening family walks around the park in our neighborhood. I grew up with pets and with all I learned when my brother worked at a vet clinic for 4 years, I am prepared to give your pet the best care. Our pets get LOTS of love and yours will, too! Thank you for choosing me to take care of your BFF! Weekday availability for walks and drop-ins during regular business hours varies, based on my work schedule. Best times are before 12PM and after 4:30PM. Weekend availability varies based on schedule.
