Pet care experience
I have been working with animals my entire life. I started working in vet clinics in 2012, and became a certified/licensed veterinary technician in 2013. I am a dog mom to an excited golden retriever, and mom of two cats, one with special needs. I took four years off of work to focus on raising my two children, but I’m starting to re-integrate back into the clinical environment working part time. At this time I’m still currently home 5 to 6 days a week which offers great flexibility in my schedule. Because of my history in vet medicine I am comfortable medicating any pets that have special needs as well, such as those who are diabetic, have hypothyroidism, etc.. Pets must be good around children as I have a 3 year old and 6 year old daughters. They do great with dogs of all sizes. We now have a large fully fenced in back yard for your fur baby to play. It would be my pleasure to cuddle your fur baby!

This is the second time I’ve had Shannon check in on my kitty on a multi-day trip, and just as the first time I was so completely comfortable and happy with how she took care of my cat. I appreciated all the updates and photos and knowing she was in good hands!

We have a large fenced in backyard. I don’t leave dogs outside unattended. We have tons of doggy toys and dog beds! Pets are allowed on the couches, just not on our beds. For drop in visits I’m very flexible and try to maintain your current scheduling/routine to keep your pets comfortable and happy!

I have two young kids that love to play. We have lots of dog toys for stimulation, a big back yard for fetch, and my golden retriever is always up for a play buddy.
