Hello, I’m Shannon. My husband and I decided to take on pet sitting after we adopted our baby pup, Bindi. She is so close to our hearts that we realized how vital it is to find someone you can trust to care for your dog. A bonus is that she will have other pups to play with! I’ve volunteered at shelters in the past and have some experience watching dogs for friends and family so I feel confident caring for any pup that comes our way! The four of us (my husband, our two pups, and myself) live in a house in a northeast DC neighborhood. We have a fenced-in backyard with room for the pups to run around. There are tons of kids in our community who love to pet the dogs when we’re walking them. We are newlyweds who love to travel, try new things, and go to brunch! We also like to read and just binge-watch Netflix. Our schedules overlap, but unfortunately, our furry guests could be alone anywhere from six to nine hours at a time on weekdays. When we get home, we take our pup either to the dog park or on a long walk. We make sure that we let the dogs play in the backyard every day as well.
