ANIMALS are our LIFE!

Pet care experience

Dog lover and owner my whole life, family owned wildlife center.... We do it all! As a child, I grew up with collies and a canine police shepherd. My husband had small and large dogs ranging from toy poodles, shepherds, and Great Danes. We were both very active with our canine companions. In the past, we have cared for a senior dog while having three children in tow. Now, we care for a variety of animals and have one Australian Labradoodle. We are close to Columbia Trail for a good walk! I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 15 years. Currently, I am a stay at home mom. I volunteer where our children attend school. Once a week, I bring Rosie, our therapy dog in - training, for a visit. She loves to play with other dogs and can't wait for visitors! My husband has a flexible schedule as he owns his own business. My kids LOVE to play with dogs and will keep your loved ones entertained. Your dogs will not be restricted in our home unless you request it. We have the flexibility to section off our home if your dog does not get along with other dogs. We have fenced in areas of our yard for playtime and dogs have access to our home like they are a part of the family. If your dog uses a crate, we can accommodate. We suggest you bring your dog's crate for them to feel comfortable. Pictures will be send daily for your peace of mind. It is important to know details about your dog so we can care for your fury friend the best way we can. Please provide us with an much information as possible regarding your pet. We can also go over questions at our "meet and greet" but I know when families are getting ready for a trip, time is of the essence!

Shannon and her family were great! They took such good care of our pupp and we are very grateful! We also loved how Shannon shared a picture everyday and let us know how our dog was doing, and we saw how pampered and settled he was at their home.

I was dreading having to find a dog sitter! Rover.com and more specifically Shannon made the whole process so easy! We had a meet and greet ahead of time that really helped me feel at ease with leaving Duke in their care. Communication was easy and quick and it was reassuring to see him enjoying his stay while I was away. Drop off and pick up were so easy! We will definitely use Shannon again in the future!

Shannon and her family took very good care of our Sheltie. When she wouldn’t eat, they hand fed her. The photos sent showed that our dog was part of the family. I would definitely recommend Shannon as an excellent pet sitter!
